ISPS Code
Since the entry into force of Chapter XI-2 of the SOLAS Convention on July 1, 2004, the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) has formed the basis of a comprehensive mandatory security regime for international shipping.
The Administración Portuaria Integral de Tamaulipas, S.A. de C.V., in compliance with the implementation of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), received its Declaration of Compliance (DCIP) from the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine. These processes are important for the safeguarding of the Federal Maritime Zone, which includes docks, anchorages, maneuvering and docking areas, as well as the surveillance of vessel arrivals and departures and the control of the entry and exit of people and vehicles on the roads.
